Finance Working Group
Building a professional community of R&D finance leaders across the UK
We are a group of R&D Finance managers working together to explore and discuss topical and ongoing issues facing health and care R&D departments, how they impact on individual organisations and the R&D community as a whole.
The group provides the opportunity to forge professional relationships and establish a supportive and collaborative network of colleagues. For this initiative, UKRD is working jointly with the NHS R&D Forum as there is overlap and interest in this work for both communities.

Influencing national policy
The finance working group has grown and developed since it was formed in 2019 and is now a strong and influential network that works by running task and finish groups and rapid response consultations to address specific subject areas such as national funding models, award management systems and non-commercial costing, as well as others.
