Enabling a digital future for health and care research
Digital technology in health and social care has the potential to improve quality, efficiency and patient experience, whilst also supporting more integrated care and better population health.
The Digital Working Group is looking at the benefits and challenges of using AI, big data and digitalisation in research across the NHS.
The group also represents UKRD on the NIHR’s Research Delivery Data & Intelligence (RDDI) initiative, which aims to create a more connected UK research ecosystem – improving quality of and access to research data and reduce the administrative burden on research teams.
